Major Funding Boost

The Precinct project has received a major funding boost, with Council successfully securing $2.5 million through the Australian Government’s Regional Precincts and Partnerships Program (rPPP).

This builds on the $831,000 already secured through the State Government’s Thriving Regions Fund, bringing the project closer than ever to becoming a reality.

While there are still important steps ahead – including securing the remaining funding, Ministerial approval of the community land revocation proposal, and finalising agreements with developer Accord Property – this milestone marks significant progress for this important regional initiative.

Council will continue to actively advocate for the remaining funding needed and work closely with all stakeholders as the project moves forward.

We look forward to sharing more updates as key milestones are reached.
